Fundamental principles:

Jugend Eine Welt is an international aid organisation and was founded in 1997 as an association. The independent non-government organisation (NGO) pursues the objectives of providing aid to young people both nationally and internationally and sustainable development cooperation. The activities of Jugend Eine Welt are motivated by the Christian faith in the spirit of the great patron saint of young people Don Bosco. The organisation bases its work on Christian values and is committed to promoting fair structures.

The association Jugend Eine Welt Österreich is publicly and legally represented by the chairperson and the director of the association, each as sole authorised signatories. In the event that both are prevented from performing their duties the deputy chair is authorised to sign.

STATUTE  & PARTICULARS OF THE ASSOCIATION

Purpose of the Association as defined in the Statute:

(1) The Association is a charitable, not-for-profit association of natural persons. Its aims and purpose exclusively serve humanitarian and welfare ends.

(2) The Association’s objective is the charitable support of persons in need.

The Association pursues the objective of fighting poverty and hardship in developing countries and supporting projects offering emergency aid in the event of international disasters and other humanitarian disasters. Projects are carried out either by the Association itself or by its agents.

(3) The Association performs work relating to development policy with the aim of contributing to growing solidarity in the form of responsibility based on Christian precepts and taken for each other by individuals, groups and whole nations.

(4) The Association pursues the aims of promoting young people both nationally and internationally and development cooperation carried out all over the world especially by institutes and programmes run by the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Don Bosco Sisters for the education and training of young people.

Disclaimer

Any monies exceeding the amount required to fund particular projects shall be used for other projects and activities of Jugend Eine Welt in accordance with the Statute.

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, DSG, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Data storage - what personal data we collect and why we collect it

When you visit our website, our web space provider automatically saves log files, data such as the IP address, access time, details on the browser used and the URLs of the subpages visited. This is due to technical reasons and therefore represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Unless otherwise regulated in the following, this data will not be processed by us, we will not use this data and will not pass it on. If there is illegal behavior, however, they could be inspected.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm.

Our website, designed with the WordPress CMS system, uses technically necessary cookies. These ensure that the website works properly. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized and only non-specific user data is collected.

By using Google Web Fonts, a Google server in the USA is accessed when using this offer. Further data protection information can be found in the data protection declaration of the provider Google.

YouTube videos

This website includes videos from YouTube, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The presentation of the videos presupposes that YouTube perceives the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you would enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. Further information on the collection and use of your data by YouTube can be found in the data protection declaration of the provider Google.
